St. Louis Zoo
The St. Louis Zoo is free! And, if you go during December when it's freezing cold outside, there probably won't be a lot of people. No crowds, no screaming children blocking your view, and no waiting in lines! Perfect.
These first two photos are obviously of penguins. The ones in the second photo, in the back right, are (as we heard one mother explaining to her 5-year old) "really good friends that are keeping each other warm."
This is obvious and needs no description. I have conquored King Kong.
Big cats! These are my favorite, except for the polar bears. But unfortunately, there weren't any of those.
And, I'm adding this one just for kicks.
